Pilot Metro ink not flowing - The Fountain Pen Network
Oh, Radioclub. I'm so sorry you are having this problem and with your first pen too! Please know that in general fountain pens are trouble free and a joy to use. Just out of curiosity what kind of pen is it and what ink are you using?? It's okay haha!! I'm using the Pilot Metropolitan and the ink is the cartridge pilot ink that came with it.
Pilot 78G+ = The New 78G? - The Fountain Pen Network
Hi Everyone, Last year a pen starting popping up for sale in China that looks like a legitimate reincarnation of the discontinued but beloved Pilot 78G. The interesting thing is that this new pen, the Pilot 78G+, seems to only be for sale in mainland China. At first I thought it was another knock...
Upcoming retail price hikes for Pilot and Sailor fountain pens ...
Pilot uses such nibs in the Kakuno, 78G+, Lightive/Explorer, Cocoon/MR, and Prera models; and Sailor uses such nibs in the Procolor 500 (by any other name, e.g. Shikiori HIsakata) and Profit Casual models. I don't think there's any real call for improving them as for as writing performance goes.
Pilot Prera: Three Nibs (F, M, & Italic) - The Fountain Pen Network
The Prera, like other models featuring Pilot’s “Super Quality” steel nib, is a serious writing instrument that compares well to pens priced many times as much. Pilot’s out-of-the-box quality (at any price) is second to none, and the Prera affirms their commitment to excellence. What makes the Prera an awesome fountain pen? Several ...
Review Of The New Pilot 78G+ Ef (Picture Heavy) - The Fountain Pen Network
Hi, The pens I am reviewing today are the latest version of the 78G that Pilot has started selling exclusively in China since early 2017. My husband has a tiny handwriting and his pens 0.3 pens all seemed too thick for the size he was writing in his agenda in. He also likes the least pretentious ...
Pilot Prera Medium Review - The Fountain Pen Network
Pilot Prera Medium Review I have a love-hate relationship with Pilot’s starter level pens. The Kakuno is a great fit for any age and size as long as you don’t mind carrying a pen that looks like a child’s toy. Then they do offer the Metropolitan that has a lovely formal presenta...
Pilot Elite Review (1970S) - The Fountain Pen Network
The Pilot customer service is truly commendable. The Pilot Elite has been in my wish list for a while, thank you for confirming its strong points such as reliability, weight, portable size.
How To Fix Pilot Metropolitan - The Fountain Pen Network
Hello everyone. I've got BIG problem with Pilot Metropolitan. It constantly pour out all the ink. No matter what kind of ink or I'm using: Parker Quink, Herbin Perle Noire, Aurora Black, Pelikan Blue, after few shakes (for example in pencil case) everything looks like in the picture shown below. ...
Pilot v. Uni-ball - The Fountain Pen Network
The Pilot VBall is a simple and straighforward pen that seems to glide across the page a lot smoother than the Uni-ball Vision. This smoothness is even more evident when writing with the Pilot Precise V5/V7 series. Perhaps, if Pilot's ink was bullet-proof, I would not be so torn between these two pen makers.
Pilot Hi-Tecpoint Pens - The Fountain Pen Network
On a lark, I picked up an interesting PILOT pen. It's some kind of micro rollerball, probably equivalent to 0.3mm or 0.5mm. PILOT made these as a series of technical pens, as an alternative to using an nib fountain pen or a stylograph. PILOT discontinued the Hi-Tecpoint line, but they ...
